After about who knows how long of picking up and putting down Les Miserables, I finished it today, and dearly regret not having finished it sooner. I think especially the last three hundred or so pages contain some of the most beautiful prose that I have ever read. Yesterday my father and I went to Chicago so that today I could pick up my student visa. We met a friend for lunch and in the evening went to see violin virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird concert at Millenium Park for free. Heidi and I went shopping at The Black Market, General Eccentric, and Black Swan Books today. So fun. I bought the most beautiful brown dress at The Black Market for only $30- an impossible price at that store.
