Himself was pushed back once again as the landlord wanted another coat of Kilz in Laurel's room and the hallway. He thankfully didn't make a stink about the cigarette burns and iron prints in the living room being more obvious after Himself cleaned the carpets, but he did acknowledge we didn't make them (former housemate Sergio did). Himself's departure got pushed back yet another day when our soon-to-be-former landlord decided to make a stink about the floors. (He was supposed to leave Monday morning but the friend slated to help load the truck has his work schedule screwed over, so he loaded it by himself and then racked out because he was in no shape to drive.) It's been raining on and off since Thursday, so the phone line buzz is back. I'm connected at a screaming 9600, so this will be fairly brief (for me).

Laurel's room is done except for the toys as she woke up while I was folding clothes. Will get to those tomorrow, along with the promised list. Laurel is restricted to water outside of mealtimes because of the amount of Gatorade she "painted" her bed and dollhouse with yesterday ( Read more... )

It now looks like we'll be doing a full DITY move since he's been dragging his feet about dealing with TMO. This adds a whole new level of fun to the sorting I've been working on since Laurel and I would have left before the boxers arrived.
