I survived the school carnival despite it raining cats, dogs and livestock while we were unloading the car. We used up almost all of our 55cf (uncompressed) helium tank because Vogon thought it'd be a hit to use the rest of the tank left over after decorating to fill individual balloons on request for the kids in attendance. Two months, three financial assessments, more phone calls than I'm going to check my call log to count and a faxed appeal later, I am finally enrolled in NorthSTAR.

I would be excited it's finally over, but since it's dark and rainy I'm going to take a nap instead. Phew.

I saw my meds doc today. My current dosage levels are working out fine. My new scrip, which I'll get filled closer to home next week, will cover me for the next two months and I don't have another appointment at the 25-minutes-away outpatient clinic until mid-October.

So, the concern that I was falling asleep all right but kept waking partway up several times during the night has been remedied... with a pair of earplugs.

I am so happy it's ridiculous.

When I get very angry, I write down my angry thoughts and run them through the paper shredder. It's cathartic.

edit: I was just informed that a character on The Sopranos does this, too. They probably did it first since I only got my hands on the shredder this spring, but I've never seen a full episode of that show.
