... and in a good mood.  It's a lovely sunny day outside and they say it will be up to 61F.  That's Spring-like, at least/at last.

I think I may well be in love with the singer/songwriter Dan Bern, just from his music.  I've had song after song from Breathe in my head over the past few days.

I am listening to a recording of 1980s acts doing Noel Coward songs.  Somebody I'd never heard of called, I think, "Space", did "Mad Dogs and Englishmen".

It wouldn't be bad, except that the singer can't stay on pitch.  He can't get the low notes, he muffs the higher notes.  He needed to actually work on this song, because it's in a more ( Read more... )

She definitely had something, but could definitely have used better songs. And the production on her songs is very much of its time.

"Stumblin' In", though, is a minor classic. And I don't think it's just because I'm old that I think so.
