They intimidate me slightly. While, by strict definition, this may be a decadent era, it is also an era with an aesthetic of brushed steel. Am well and truly moved in:  my entire family came down/over and spent a day unloading boxes.  The only boxes still present are my books (because I haven't decided for sure where the bookcases go) and two kitchen boxes (because I kind of ran out of cabinets.)
