I guess I was only of interest so long as I was a potential sexual partner.  Nothing that goes on in my head is worth his time.

Yesterday I was very happy because I was going to a concert that evening. I went, and had a fantastic time.

Had to cancel - reschedule, really - my date because I have this head cold. My mother persuaded me it wasn't responsible to expose someone else to it.

So I have the evening free. It's too early to go to bed (still light out). I don't feel bad, just tired. And disappointed, of course.

In my ongoing quest to be able to pass as a grown-up, I've decided that I need to be able to provide coffee to guests.  I never have been a coffee drinker and for years have kept nothing but an ancient jar of Maxwell House for those who can't make do with tea.  But I'd like to be able to offer proper hospitality, and coffee is part of that ( Read more... )
