I thought today would involve one more trip to some far corner of another borough, but luck intervened and I get to stay home and re-center myself. The past few days have been MADNESS, of the best kind. I listen to Garrison Keillor's The Writer's Almanac every morning on my mile-long walk to the train. Today's poem was so beautiful, and I both don't want to lose it and I want you all to have it too. It's one of those things that comes as close anything can to personal creed for me.

Couture- These remain the shoes I may kill for. I mean, I would go for the olive and taupe or maybe the purple and brown myself, but still.
- On buying vintage stockings - I had no idea this was even a thing that was possible. That may just be because I have ruined any pair of stockings or tights I've ever put my legs through.
