What a beautiful quiet while it lasted.

Do you like poetry? I thought I didn't, but it turns out I do! The Writer's Almanac is one of my favorite ways to start the day, and so far they've had an amazing selection in March. I've shared five great poems that you should read (or listen to!) at
magpieandwhale.

Further determination: Get proficient at "Stand By Me," by which I mean actually get your rhythm and chord changes down, with a metronome and stuff, rather than just fiddling in an irregular manner. I've also rediscovered Chordie, which is a guitar tabs site but which can translate tabs to a number of other stringed instruments, including C-tuning ukuleles.

Other artsy things I want to spend time with, beyond the too-many (not too many) books I bought in Chicago: 10 Rules for Drawing Comics, which is a project collecting answers from multiple artists. Also, investigating all these lady comics-makers.

...well, it's 10:14 and my next-door neighbor has started with the pounding music that reverberates along all my walls and long hallways, so... it is a gorgeous, peaceful, mild day outside, so I'd better get out there. Long and excellent day ahead, frankly.
