Who needs springlike icons? This kid.

Mmm, today is Laziness Collapse Day. (I drew a return list comic yesterday, but there were still Deadlines after that.) It's already 61F outside and it's only going to get more glorious (this kind of spring I'll take! this is okay!), and I'm feeling a distinct urge to make this healthy bullshit again for lunch, which means sauntering over to the bodegas and maaaaaybe just... lounging outside for a bit. (It was warm and sunny yesterday too, so I very smartly went out for a run after not running for a week. I remembered then that when there are no leaves and thus no shade, 60F feels REALLY, REALLY HOT in full sun.)

My intention is to spend today working on a job application at a place where I've already submitted an application for a job I desperately want, while hoping that they don't think I'm trying to just game them while applying for this other job that seems really, really cool. (I submitted the first application about a week and a half ago, so I'm trying not to get too antsy. This second job has an application deadline of tomorrow, so... IDK, it's for a small company but I'm so desperately excited about the first thing I applied for, but I don't want to miss any chance at all of getting to meet them for an interview, so, y'know. Problems!) Beyond that... fiction. I'm having more thoughts about Big Band Witches stuff, if anyone wants to talk about that, and I think I figured out how to streamline my Obviously Howard Stark Is Jewish fic that I started, like, a month ago and which quickly spiraled out of control. I have no other commitments today (that I can remember, at least) and it's great.

Did anyone here sign up for ByFandom? I actually have no actual idea what it really is (a Tumblr substitute that also includes journaling and privacy functionalities?) or how we're supposed to use it (and apparently the creators are working out same), but I thought I'd grab my username anyway, so I'm at newredshoes, surprise surprise? Yarp.

So hey, how're you all doing?
