Once I actually finish some of the fic I've got open in a zillion different tabs, I will surely be making a gigantor fic recs post. For now, though...
House-proud
I am totally, utterly, incontrovertably fascinated by cleaning with vinegar and baking soda. I tried it on my tub, left to me quite nasty by the previous tenant, and the baking soda worked quite well with some scrubbing. I'm on a kick to test as many of these as I can (or I think I can accomplish without truly messing things up, which, I assure you, I could make that happen).
A summation of 25 must-do tips for living in small spaces.

I could have gotten so much else done.
To, er, totally contravene that, The Art of Wooing: An Email Tale of Modern Courtship is being called Griffin and Sabine for the internet age. Also, I truly love collage and mixed media, so it's got that going for it.
In the vein of a picture being worth a thousand words, If the planets could sing.

The Pacific
Studs Terkel interviewing Eugene Sledge, audio in six parts. I haven't listened to this yet, but you'd better believe I'm making time as soon as I can.
By the way, since this never gets old: exhibit A; exhibit B.
While we're on the theme of actors who worked as children and who look shockingly the same, did you know that James Badge Dale was in a 1990 version of Lord of the Flies? Same faces. Same poses. This. Is. Amazing.
