Yesterday, I was reading in Philip Yancey's book, "What's So Amazing About Grace," that Benjamin Franklin used to carry around a journal with 13 virtues. I've been taking a little time off from work for the past couple days because of Ethan. It's been pretty cool- so far I've done a lot of cleaning and cooking and shopping for Beth and I've changed a bunch of dirty diapers.

So far, I really enjoy being a father.

I decided to come to work for the past two days because Beth's mom and dad are around to help out. Tomorrow, they leave to go back to Orlando, so I'll be spending the next week at home with her- cleaning and doing diapers and maybe even trying my hand at cooking a bit? We'll see. Whatever my lovely wife needs!

I had to cage myself off today inside my office so that I could finish working on two scripts. I got one finished and got a fair bit of time in on the the other one, too. I took a few minutes here and there to watch this documentary called "One." It was awful.
