According to Dr. Laura and USA Today, Daycare Services may be the next industry in need of a bail-out (or worse, mandated use). To fight low enrollment, daycare workers are lashing out at parents who are pulling their children out of their facilities.

A few weeks ago, Ethan was playing on the bed next to me and he fell off while I took a catnap. I'm really not negligent- I just had a momentary loss of reason due to sheer exhaustion. He's fine, but I still feel terrible about it and so I wrote 100 words in penance. Read it, here, on my website.

Beth's mom has been here for the past week. It's pretty decent because she's made us lot of food (it's all in the freezer for when the baby comes) and she's taken the dog for a walk in the morning which means that I get to sleep in an extra 10/20 minutes (or just hang out with the family for a couple extra minutes ( Read more... )
