I had a good April Fools Day!

- It began when I came into work and found a clever joke from GMAIL telling me that they were now offering a new product called "Custom Time." I was excited at first, because I thought it was going to be like the scheduler in Outlook- where I can set up an e-mail to send at an exact time in the future. I used to do that at Universal all the time. But instead, this dandy little prank said that I had the option to send mail yesterday, 6 months ago, or any time in the past through 2004 (the birth of GMAIL). It was a good laugh.
- Then, I began my daily reading of webcomics. Two of my favorites had "switched sites" and so when I pulled up Dinosaur Comics, I was rerouted to another comic altogether. Also, David Malki from Wondermark said that he was now going to be drawing all of his comics by hand instead of doing the traditional Victorian style prints- I'm not sure if that's an April Fools Joke or not, but I'm pretty sure it is...
- Then- YouTube Rickrolled me. That's right. EVERY single video on YouTube's Featured Videos was pointed to Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up. YouTube WINS.... That was probably one of the better pranks I've ever experienced!
So, all in all I think it was a pretty good April Fools Day. I also got quite a bit of work done on the learning points of a new script I'm writing. I've also begun to storyboard the script that I'm writing this month for SCRIPT FRENZY.
