There goes the holiday season, back to work tomorrow. The past couple weeks have been quite enjoyable with lightly loaded buses, quiet office, lots of dinners and gatherings with friends and family. Tomorrow is arguably one of the biggest games for the Canucks. They bounced back after two losses in Boston to win Game 5 to move within 1 win of the cup. Game 6 didn't go according to plan at all. HUGE GAME Tomorrow!
Before the Canucks played the Blackhawks in Game 7 of the first series, everyone was saying it was one of the biggest games for this team. Tomorrow, the Canucks will play an even more important game. The Canucks played well and overcame the Blackhawks in OT. There is no reason that Canucks can't repeat that effort and overcome this bigger challenge ( Read more... ) -

So we head into Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final tomorrow with everyone still talking about the hit and subsequent suspension handed out by the league. I was expecting Rome to be suspended 1 or 2 games, but not 4 games. That seems excessive considering some of the other hits that have happened. I haven't blogged here in a long time. A lot has happened since then. This year seems to pass by quite fast, hard to believe it's already June tomorrow. Working seems to make time go by much faster. It's been one week since the devastating earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. The problems at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant has had the focus of the world for the past few days. After two quiet weeks on the Skytrain, buses and campus, it's back to packed trains, long lines and a lively campus. Those two weeks were really nice, easy to find parking at Skytrain Station, light traffic on the roads, guaranteed seat on the bus and quiet at the office.
