I haven't blogged here in a long time. A lot has happened since then. This year seems to pass by quite fast, hard to believe it's already June tomorrow. Working seems to make time go by much faster. Attending a friends' graduation today made me realize it's been one year since I was up on that stage. It does feel like a long time ago but maybe because I am still so connected to the school, it doesn't feel I have left. Even though I take the same bus and walk around the same campus, attending school and working there feels totally different. Sometimes I am envious of those students who only have to wake up early maybe couple times a week, can take naps after class and leave in the early afternoon.
Finally, after waiting for a week, the Stanley Cup Final will start tomorrow. Seems like a long time ago, the Canucks played Game 5 against the Sharks. It's nice to see the Canucks as the centre of attention in the national sports media. You can't go anywhere in Vancouver without seeing a car flag, or people wearing jerseys. It will be nice to see the Cup finally return to Canada. I remember when I first started following the Canucks in the early 2000s and the Canucks made the playoffs for the first time in a few years. People were so excited just because they made the playoffs. Eventually the lost 4 straight to Colorado in the first round. The team has since improved tremendously and I think this is a special group that can finally do it, they got a good deep team and luck seems to be on their side.
