The weekend was HOT. We got up into the 80's - which is more than we should be for this time of year. Our weather patterns are most certainly changing... I was trying to get some of my plants potted up into outdoor tubs on Saturday - which meant working in the greenhouse. Two weeks ago tonight Hubby came home and cut the grass. We wanted to put on some autumn weed & feed & mosskiller. You can do this from September onwards, when the soil is warm but rain is forecast (to wash the granules into the ground). We waited. And waited. Glorious weather over the weekend meant we got 2 full days doing gardening chores. It's time to start preparing the garden for winter. Hubby got both lawns cut and maybe this will be the last time before the frosts? I was emtying tubs and cleaning stuff off. The temperature guage is saying 11C (52F). Hubby is off work with the lurgy (He is never off work. Ever.
