For the first time in a couple of weeks we can see grass again. It got a lot warmer last Sunday. In fact we got back up to 0C and it started a very slight melt. Our road is fairly busy, so the compacted snow and ice began to mush up and by Monday evening we could see tarmac again. I re-read some of my own fiction today. There were several pieces I had completely forgotten about and it felt strange reading them and thinking I had written them.
