Okay quick post.

SO, finished my baby sister's sweater a bit over a week ago. I got most of it done, while in Scotland, and finished up the rest before the first of the month. I opted to create the cosplay based off Sorachi-sensei's coloured manga volume cover. In the anime, Otae wears the same kimono, but in the manga, she has a few different ones (all really pretty too)

Finally finished this dang baby sweater. It's soo cute.

THe one thing i have learned from this experience: NEVER WORK IN COTTON AGAIN!

ugh! the tension and the way cotton looks and stretches it does not hold form well and i just hated it. but, it was on sale and i am a sucker for good deals. next one will be in the baby fine merino wool it is ( Read more... )

*sighs* So, this is the first j-dorama I have watched that i was TOTALLY unimpressed with. The writing was pathetic, the direction was pallid, and the music was utterly cheesy! Not to mention the holes in the plots that make the craters on the moon look like pinholes. SOOO sad.
