The Transformers movie is an epic opus compared to the original episodes. Have you seen them recently? Decepticons want energon. Autobots try to stop them. New Autobot-Of-The-Week helps save the day (and hurt mommy's pocketbook because you HAD to have him!). Autobots, roll out. Decepticons, retreat. Bumblebee and Spike crack jokes and puns ( ... )

Yes. I have seen them recently. They're simplistic on account of their being a children's cartoon show from the 1980's, but they have nostalgic spark to them. There were the odd jokes, there were the posturing robots...but god dammit, they knew how to SPEAK to the children. And they knew how to do it without turning heroes into a VW bug full of big shoes and squeaking noses ( ... )

How's about lets try this again without you putting words in my mouth, son. I do appreciate me a good debate any chance I can use to get one, even when it's on the subject of an opinion, such as this one is, and stated like a series of facts, such as this one is. However, I like to keep it grounded in some reality and based on what gets said, not what we can jam into the other guy's mouth, because that's dirty pool.
