Originally my Trillian shawl was named "Trillian in the meadow," after the name of the yarn I'm using for it; dork that I am, it was briefly extended to "Trillian in the meadow at Tanagra." But as I got further into the knit and the colours started to emerge, it got re-renamed "Nephthytis Trillian," after the pink nephthytis that lives on my desk ( Read more... )

Finally finished putting up the East Sparta fireworks photos. Tried editing them from the laptop, but eventually it made Corel freeze up and crash. Odd.

And, a Harry Potter joke (no spoilers).

And $130 later, Rocket's legs are fine, joints and bones are in good condition, but he got REALLY pissy when the vet poked at the muscles above the elbow on the right arm. So the vet figures Rocket pulled/sprained/whatever one of the muscles up there ( Read more... )
