I've been teaching Tiburon to 'nosebump' where we touch our noses together when I give the command nosebump! Kind of like fist bump, but for dogs! It is completely silly and some might think it gross (especially when he licks as well) but I like it and I think of it as a unique experience for the two of us ( Read more... )

I realize that I have been posting a crap ton about Tibby as of late. Can't help it being an excited pet mom. It's great to have a dog again and he makes me so happy so I can ignore some of the crappier things life has been throwing at me and my family. So the inlaws came home from China today. We had to be up by 4:30 am to get to the airport on time (thank you Mr. Tibbs for waking me up at 4 so you could pee....) I can't wait for Tibby's cone of shame to come off. We have a friend of ours staying in 200 acres of farm about 20 or so minutes away from us in a beautiful area. We went there without Tiburon yesterday evening and it is just amazing. I just found a bunch of balls all of varying sizes in a bush in our back yard. We know the person who lived in the house before us had a kid and a dog, so it looks like they might the toys from one of them. This is great since we now have more toys for Tiburon to play with!
