Mean mommy
I'm getting the you're a mean mommy vibes from Tiburon because I didn't let him play with a kelpie mix we came across today on our morning walk in the park. He met Maisey and they greeted one another. Then Tiburon proceeded to go nuts wanting to play, but he has a cone of shame on and stitches so his playing is restricted to whining at me like I am the most horrible person in the world for not letting him go over and play with the puppy that is just like him!
We also had a rough night last night. For some reason tibby is peeing a lot. I had to let him out 4 times last night. The last time was particularly bad as I was trying to get out of bed, (4:30 am) and he couldn't wait any longer so he started to pee, I stopped him and took him outside, so he is house broken more or less, he just needs to wake us up when it is 'I have to go soon' instead of 'I HAVE TO GO NOW' but teaching that subtle difference to a puppy is nigh impossible.
I am so tired. I am happy but I am so, so tired. I went to bed at 9:45 got up at 11,12-1. 2:30, 4:30... and in between those times I was petting and soothing Tibby as his stitches were bothering the crap out of him. He was licking at his crotch area so I stopped him the first time, took him into the office to try and get him to relax and calm down so I could look and make sure he hadn't pulled anything and then he did it again, but crawled under our bed so it made it hard to extract him. Today nothing is pulled and he wasn't acting like he was in pain.
I am a bit surprised at him. I fed him today had he didn't eat every last bit of kibble in 30 seconds and then push the bowl around for another minute afterwards. He left kibble in his bowl. I fed him his normal amount, so either he has learned that he will get fed so there is no need to freak over the kibble or he is still feeling a bit off.
