Well the first group of large prop items went into the rehearsal hall last night ON TIME. What a relief. Prop Master is a big job for a show this size, meaning I am in early...staying late...and there between my other classes... but as much work as it is I am still enjoying the challenge. Minneapolis is a great place from what I can tell from my trip this weekend, sort of like a really big version of the east side of Milwaukee spread out. The architecture was fun and obviously folks here really take their visual and performance art seriously. My release date for Nashoba’s Hope is being moved up my nearly a month which is really exciting. Going over the review copy of Ancestral Magic is making me crazy. It’s not that I’m not proud of my story, I am, I just afraid I’ll miss some edit messup and it’ll go into print that way. My habit of being only on the short list but never making the final cut for an anthology call seems to be at an end. (I hope permanently :P ). It seems we are not to be kitten free for long. Six foster kittens arrived last night, most done with a horrible case of a respiratory infection from their time at the shelter. I was up past midnight brushing, trimming, giving meds, feeding, etc… and getting all of the kitten into their sleeping area. Once the cold is gone they’ll get daily play ( Read more... )
