And other things. I didn't do anything on Halloween this year, but I did dress up the dolls and put up the decorations. Mom gave me a Halloween tree for my birthday. It's been up since September 1st! She made a tree skirt and I had plenty of ornaments.

I just realized- Christmas is two months from Wednesday. Yikes! The past three weeks have been a blur. First the surgery and then recovering at home, then trying to get back to my normal routine. I'm just now starting to cross stitch again. I made progress on a piece that will be a gift, but haven't even started any ornaments. Usually at this time ( Read more... )

Mom's birthday was a week ago. We went to see the musical Bright Star at the Riverside. The show has bluegrass music written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell and it was wonderful. The Riverside does such a good job with all of their shows.

On Monday, Facebook and Instagram were down most of the day. I spent most my time off of the computer. Rory had the right idea and napped most of the day. He is a cat, after all.
