Once again SORRY for my lack of online presence...

My mom had a mild heart attack on Tuesday morning as she was about to leave for work.  She had burning in the chest and pain in both arms and my dad gave her an aspirin... she didn't feel right so my dad drove her to the hospital.  She had enzymes in her blood so they sent her to a larger hospital ( Read more... )

Heck yeah... my dad likes stereos.  And he likes his music loud.  He likes to listen to it just about as loud as it will safely go.... by safely I mean the speakers will be safe, not your ears.  Always knew he was home on weekend afternoons when he was blazing rock or jazz music so loud you could hear clearly it from the street.

Talked to my parents on the phone for over an hour.  Apparently some distant relatives of ours and such have been getting sick... my mom's aunt is probably going to die within the next few weeks which is sad.  I don't remember her that well but she's in her 80s now and she's ready to go.  When times like these come I think about what ifs a little ( Read more... )

I'm exhausted for the 2nd day in a row for some reason.  Thought I had a fever at work today but my temp was 36.8 C which they said was not a fever.  I don't know C worth a crap so I had no idea.  I just checked and it's not.  I had a headache but I had some medicine in my bag so I took that and I feel better except I'm still tired.  Going to bed ( Read more... )

I mailed my mom her birthday present today, woo.  So glad I didn't send it in a box.  I sent it in an envelope with some padding around it and it only cost me 2 bucks to mail.  Score!  Her birthday is next Friday so hopefully it will get there on time.  And then I came back to my apartment to find a letter from her in my mail slot :) I'm so excited ( Read more... )

It's funny how I'm so used to going to Koriyama on Sundays.  I feel like I have to work tomorrow BUT I DON'T woot.

Taught the new preschoolers for the first time today.  Nerve-wracking!  I think they liked me though.  And jeez the kids that moved up to kindergarteners are so adorable and smart now.  Walking home I had them all waving and yelling DARCY SENSEI! at me.  Greatest part was when two kids were looking at my purse which has a felt hamburger and fries ( Read more... )
