<3 Merry Christmas <3
Talked to my parents on the phone for over an hour. Apparently some distant relatives of ours and such have been getting sick... my mom's aunt is probably going to die within the next few weeks which is sad. I don't remember her that well but she's in her 80s now and she's ready to go. When times like these come I think about what ifs a little.... what if someone was suddenly seriously ill and I couldn't come because I'm so far away..... etc. But I guess that is a fact of life. It was good to talk to my parents, though. I should talk to them more often. My dad barely says anything, he just sits there and listens while it's on speakerphone. I got a few words out of him but I wish he'd talk more. He's not really the type to talk when my mom is yakking away I guess.
I've been lazy about packing but I plan on leaving in about an hour so I'm off to get finished packing and go. Hope you all have a fantastic few days ahead :) Merry Christmas!
I'm planning on bringing my computer with me but I don't care so much if there will be internet. I just want to get a few things done and use it for a radio if need be.
I got a box of British food in the mail today from my brother & his family, including bacon flavored potato chips. Should be good!
