It's funny how I'm so used to going to Koriyama on Sundays. I feel like I have to work tomorrow BUT I DON'T woot.
3 great things about today:
1, Saw Dark Knight and it was awesome. I can see why Bob saw it twice and Lenya saw it 3 times. Heath Ledger was a great Joker, it really shows his versatility as an actor to pull that off after a lot of the teenage romance stuff he did. It's sad he's not around to see how well the movie is doing. Harvey Dent was well played, too. The scruffy Batman voice is still weird to me after 2 movies lol. It kind of suits the new badboy Batman image they've created, though. Remember back when batman was filled with holy hole in a donut puns? I'm assuming they're going to make more of these movies so I wonder who the new Robin will be.
2, Saw Japanese nerdlings playing a Magic tournament outside a toy store (too bad they were all really young looking, like jr highish, otherwise I would have checked them out HA i like nerds X____X). If I wasn't about to watch Dark Knight I might have tried talking to them. But in typical socially awkward fashion, I said nothing. It made me smile, though. There ARE nerds here, I am just not looking hard enough.
3, Came home to find an envelope in my mail slot from my parents, with pictures from when I was home, a friend of mine, and my cousin's wedding that I obviously missed. Aww. It's really funny, I have a picture of me with my mom and a picture of me with my dad, and in the one with my mom, we're both smiling, but in the one with my dad, we're both making weird faces lol.
PS - does it seem odd to you that Iron Man is coming out in Japanese theaters in September? Why is it later than Dark Knight?!? @_____@
