For the last 4 years I've been trying to figure out WHY Mexican food in Boston sucks.

I found out why. People are fucking morons, that's why.

I'd like to point out the following gems:

Unless quesadillas were deep-fried, we had found they were usually doughy inside, a problem we couldn't seem to fix.

DEEP FRIED quesadillas?!?!?!

+ cooked delicious food

I am totally craving junk fast food for lunch. mmmm... burger and fries...

* go to Old Navy in mall across town, rather than across street, because they have larger selection. I have a bag to fill up and everything you stuff in it you get 20% off. this weekend I managed to rip my summer office/casual pants while tipsy on K&K's hammock. sadly they are now bumming around pants rather than pants that I should only wear on ( Read more... )

The way my day has gone, as shown by my gorcery purchases:

1 box french bread pizza
1 tub guacamole
1 tub salsa
1 bag black bean tortilla chips
1 tub "5 onion" dip
1 pint "caramel cone" ice cream
1 six-pack beer

I could really go for some falafel right now. Sadly the heat and sun are so oppressive that I doubt I can make it much further than across the street without dying or at the very least invoking a sun headache. I am also still carless, practically a week after taking my car to the shop. And so I shall not walk to the Armenian market and get falafel ( Read more... )

I just saw an ad on Fox for a new fall series called "Kitchen Confidential." Is this based on Bourdain's book? If so, bring it on!

For tonight's dinner, I enjoyed brown rice, steamed French green beans, and a New Zealand grass-fed filet mignon with rosemary-wine demi-glaze.
