This year, I beat my old record by walking 108 laps (27 miles) over the course of 9.5 hours. I went ice skating in Schenley Park tonight as part of an APhiO rush event. contrasedative was there, as was her boyfriend Charles and a couple of friends. The rink did this event tonight where people 18 yrs and up can go on the ice from 9:30 to 11:30, and you get a dollar off of the price with student ID ( Read more... )

I've had some pretty good and some pretty rough days over the last month. I've been to a conference pretty recently, and that was quite cool, but I've also gotten pretty frustrated with my APhiO chapter. This, however, is a day that reaffirms why I'm really in the organization. I feel revitalized. This is why.

The week was pretty simple overall. I helped out with some tabling for APhiO, giving out lemonade and iced tea during the first week of classes. I had my courses, most of which did review stuff the first day, but the courses are finally starting to show their true colors.
