I got another Pilates book today. Like nearly every book I’ve seen, the first exercises are just Too Goddamned Hard if you’re a Pilates novice, and there are no suggestions on how to work up to them. Today's been one of those days that feels simultaneously very busy and not at all productive. I've done a lot of laundry. I made dinner. I placed a grocery order. I left the house for a bit. I've begun to get photos up from Geni and Kevin's visit (as well as at kitsnaps, where the better stuff is posted). It was a good visit; we went to Cashel and Fota and Cobh and did a wander around Cork on the hop-on-hop-off bus, which wasn't nearly as entertaining as last year's bus to Blarney, so we'll have to do that again some other time. Yoga class last night was pleasant in a sort of "I don't really feel like I'm getting much out of this" way. The class last week felt more...achivey. I (we) did, however, learn the sun salutation, which I'm not any good at at *all*, and feel very clumsy doing.
