John Wedding Weekend - Part III - The Actual Wedding
Well the actual wedding was wonderful. They had it at the Delaney Winery and Vineyard in Grapevine. Very classy. Beautiful spacious interior. The had a wine bar instead of a regular open bar, which was nice for a Sunday middle-of-the-day wedding. Laura’s dress was gorgeous with a long train which meshed well with the old feel of the room. This weekend was hard for me in a lot of ways. But the biggest was my inability to drive somewhere without fraking GETTING LOST. Argh! I grew up in Dallas. We created an above ground planting bed using cinder blocks. The holes are parallel to the ground and have herbs and flowes planted in them. We planted carrots, corn, onions, radishes, cucumbers, green beans, dill, rosemary, and thyme. And some flowers from bulbs. Crazy Weekend
This weekend is set to be a doozy. I am leaving tonight for Dallas. To see my folks and attend a wedding. (I am almost spelled it weeding, which would've been funny...for me, at least). I am driving back on Sunday. Jason is leaving Sunday for Detroit to attend his grandma's funeral and he will be back on Wed. My poor cat is going to be so -
