I managed to tear the end of my nail off, about a quarter of an inch into the nail bed. It hurts like a motherfucker, and I have a Spider-Man band-aid over it so I don't keep hurting it worse by whacking it into things, and I am having a hell of a time typing with my fingertip embiggened like this.
