Wow so much is going on. AJ is walking, talking and attempting to be potty trained. He will lead us into the bathroom and sometimes go and sometimes not (we think he just likes being read stories and thats how we kept him occupied while we wait). Not AJ..althought he would make a cute baby model IMO. Gopher finally got an interview and will accept the job offer on Monday. Its working for another contractor here at JSC doing safety for shuttle and CEV (the next vehicle). Its actually very similar to what he used to do for the space station. I've been a mom for two and half weeks now. My son AJ came two weeks early on Sept 14th after I was induced (my blood pressure was too high, i was seeing spots and getting ill). If you count labor hours from when the induction started that I was in labor for about 26 hours but if you count it from when my water broke then it was only 20 hours. Nice ( Read more... )

What a crazy busy fun day! Today was my baby shower hosted by my good friend KD. She got her sons to help out and even one of their girlfriends. Thats what started out the crazy part of the day. Yesterday I hit 36 weeks in my pregnancy! Yeah! Next week the little guy is considered full term. Right now though i'm totally experiencing fake labor. The tummy getting tight and the lower back hurting. I sure do wish it was real labor so I could meet the little kicker. The only bad part about is that I'm Strep B positive.
