What a crazy busy fun day! Today was my baby shower hosted by my good friend KD. She got her sons to help out and even one of their girlfriends. Thats what started out the crazy part of the day. As her son was leaving the house in his super big truck he hit the truck parked across the street at the end of my driveway. You know there is nothing like a teenage trying to tell you he hit a car. Its not totally understandable other than something isn't right. Lucky for him the truck owner wasn't too upset. And to think, I'm having a boy!
the fun busy part was the actual shower. KD put together the cutest food spread and favors and centerpiece (and the punch was yum-o). We didnt' play games bec it was a co-ed shower and guys dont' do games BUT we did make the guys wear a 28lb backpack in front of them to show them what itws like to carry extra poundage. No guy like it but it made us girls laugh like crazy! The hershey's bars you see in the pic are wrapped with a pic of the ultrasound with the words "Coming soon to a crib near you". I made way too many of those but people loved them :)
