It was a really pleasant long weekend. I didn't do any cooking, but I did start and complete a sewing project and it came out very nicely. You can see it in The Wrathskellar next month.

new_man and I joined a gym. At his urging, not mine. Now I have to buy sneakers! I haven't had a pair in years. I'm not going to give up my beloved Pure Barre, but I think I'll scale back a bit. The monthly gym membership is equivalent to one and a half PB classes and I have been taking 7-10 classes a month.

Watched The Equalizer over the weekend. It wasn't much like the show because it was the origin story. I wish movies didn't feel the need to do that. Also the need for storylines with *huge* plots. Anyway, it was also nice to see a movie set in Boston. I'm sorry
new_man turned down extra work on it -- it doesn't pay very well, but it would have been fun to try to find him. Besides, he got to hang out of the set of the TV show once.

Albert, O Albert. What can I say about him that I haven't said a million times? He is so adorable. Saturday night I was cutting and sewing and Albert was hanging out with me. For the most part not even sitting on my fabric. Around 10:30 I was sewing away and he came up to the daybed where I was sitting, looked up at me, and meowed. I realized he was right. It was time to quit. I shut down the machine and gave him permission to come up. He jumped up and began walking up my chest, so I was forced to recline upon the pillows. He knows when you've been working too hard.
