Random bits
new_man made dinner last night while I was sewing away: roast beef leftover from the feast, mashed potatoes with dill (and I suspect a lot of sour cream), and roasted broccoli with scallions and maybe the last of the garlic scapes. Dessert was sambuccade from the feast topped with my Greek sour cherry preserves. Completely decadent.
While eating dinner, I indulged in a 42 minute hour of TV. new_man is currently watching Alphas. He gave me a quick run down of all the characters and their abilities: "...and there's Dr. Rosen who doesn't have any powers except that he's David Strathairn."
Albert has two new tricks at the moment. When new_man says "Give me a kiss", he'll bump his face into new_man's. When new_man says "Bop her in the nose", he'll bump his face into mine. I am unclear how these two things are different, but new_man insists they are.
Size 30 rhinestones look awesome surrounded by a ring of 3mm bicones. Just saying.
Tonight we are trying Blood Rose Rising, episode one again. I am curious to see how they've revamped it and what the new venue is like.
