Hi, flist! Due to everything being fubar on Thursday (seriously, Thursday, what the hell even was that?) I am here in the lab finishing up a Northern blot on a Saturday. What joy. Also I have mad amounts of buffers to make so I will probably be here until the evening. FML ( Read more... ) -

Hi. It's nearly Thankgiving weekend and I am bored in the lab. Poking through science things on the internet has led me to a Facebook group called "you know you've worked too long in a lab when..." which has a very amusing list that I now feel compelled to turn into a meme even though the percentage of my flist that will appreciate this is very low ( Read more... ) -
Mixed nuts
- Still not sure what to get for my stepdad despite many excellent suggestions form the flist. I conclude that my stepdad is extremely boring.
- One of the purchase clerks upstairs REALLY needs to take a course in professional communication. Her emails read like a 14-year-old's.
