I was posessed by a freakish urge to purge things from the spare/Princess/junk room on Sunday. It was very hot and sweaty work and as a result I could barely move yesterday and the room is still a huge mess. Argh. I'd do some of it now but I'm hot and tired and have to leave for work in less than an hour.

Went to do my Youth Group thing at the Church this morning as we had a guest speaker coming and none of the other co-ordinators were in town.  Good thing I did because Th'Boy and I ended up being the only ones there.  I was late (had to spend half an hour blow drying the hot water pipe this morning) and so the only other Youth didn't know we were ( Read more... )

Th'Boy spent the night with his other Grandma and circumstances are such that she couldn't make it to the drop off point in time and is keeping him for the morning.

Right now she's happy about it because she gets to show him off at the Kingdom Hall.

She might not be so happy after our good little Unitarian is done with them.

I am now a Gatekeeper in truth-- I have the key to all the locks we use to lock the gates at night (hoodlums have been spraypainting the church).

I also have a key to the Administrator(a.k.a. Mom)'s office.

One of the big things I wanted when I was campaigning to be Youth Co-ordinator was to clear all the junk and extra furniture out of the Youth Room so they could have a space that was more their own.  No one seemed to think it was a big deal and that the room was ok how it was-- it just needed to be tidied ( Read more... )
