I have come to realize that I really had an impact on Audrey's separation anxiety when I left suddenly the Sunday Mom passed and remained with my dad and brother until Thursday. Today was the last day of State Testing for my 5th grade students and the first day of Growth & Development lessons - hurray!

At 1pm, I found myself in a classroom full of 10 year-old-girls, sitting nervously waiting to see what these "growth & development" lessons were all about. Today's lessons introduced puberty and all the changes your body goes ( Read more... )

Formula

I came to the realization yesterday that my milk supply is dwindling. I currently have about seven bags of milk in the fridge. Audrey needs three bottles of 4-6 oz. every day for daycare. Some of those bags in the fridge are only 2-3 oz. and thus need to be combined. So as you can see, I'm low on milk.

For the past two weeks, we have been spending part of our Saturday together as a little family at the park. It's Jeff's job to find a new park for us to visit each weekend.

Last weekend, we went to Golden Springs Park in Chino Hills. This park has a lake filled with ducks and turtles - two animals that remind me so much of my Grandmama and Papa. It ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a heavenly day!

First off, as I mentioned in my last post, Audrey and I skipped church. She didn't wake up until 11:30am! That was 6 and a half hours of straight sleep. Thank God...
