The pools at my gym, which have been closed for about three months due to permitting/code issues, are not going to re-open. Apparently they can't bring them up to code in the space they have. The pools at my gym are apparently closed indefinitely. They have to make so many changes to bring them up to code that they have to apply for a permit as if it's new construction, and it basically is, since they have to rebuild the entire pool area.
