After the worst wake up possible, Veronica had managed to avoid running in to Dick, grabbed her purse and headed for the highway.

Veronica stumbled into the kitchen and set up the coffee pot.

She hadn't slept well, thanks to some nightmares, and was desperate for some caffeine.

It was early evening and Veronica was pacing the living room as she waited for everyone to be ready to leave for the party. They had their supply of coasters to test drinks. Veronica was packed and ready to go. She and Archie definitely deserved a trip off the island after everything they had gone through the last few weeks.

While she was waiting for him to get back from his workshop, she sat at her laptop and fired off a quick email as promised. Too bad she didn't realize she'd attached the wrong pictures.

Veronica woke up very early on Saturday and bounced out of bed.

After all, she had a very big day planned. Plus morning cartoons!

She rushed into the kitchen, carefully poured herself a big glass of juice and grabbed a muffin from the counter before settling in front of the TV.
