Today was Veronica's 21st birthday.

And she was spending it, alone, in her apartment in DC. Her bosses had given her the day off, which she appreciated, but she was definitely missing her friends.

Oh, sure, she could have gone out for her first legal drink with some of her co-workers, but that somehow wasn't the same.

Veronica and Archie had slept in Saturday after arriving in DC and going for dinner and a nighttime tour of the monuments. There was also that little matter of shock when they realized they were in the honeymoon suite. Veronica was packed and ready to go. She and Archie definitely deserved a trip off the island after everything they had gone through the last few weeks.

While she was waiting for him to get back from his workshop, she sat at her laptop and fired off a quick email as promised. Too bad she didn't realize she'd attached the wrong pictures.
