Veronica had banished Piper from the kitchen, informing her that she was not allowed to cook for her own birthday party.

She roped Anders and Logan into decorating the lobby and Phoebe was in charge of keeping Bel and Piper out of the way until the party started.

There were even guest rooms made up if people wanted to stay overnight after the party.
