An afternoon to myself, mostly guilt-free.
A steak lunch at Steak and Ale: filet, baked potato, caesar salad, bread, iced tea. Every bit of it the way I like it and I ate damn near all of it. Must be the ninjas in my blood stream.

For all that I'm annoyed at still being unemployed, there are certain pleasures to the condition.

It's almost 80 degrees, bright, clear, sunny, breezy. So I made time to soak up some sun and paint my toenails.

It's February in Virginia. It's 11am and it's 61 degrees.

The high on Sunday is supposed to be 39 degrees.

I love this place!

I would truly hate to be a weatherman here in Hampton Roads. No matter what you predict, you're wrong. I checked the forecast last night - highs of mid 30s for the rest of the week and into the next. It's 46 degrees right now. Poor guys. I definitely feel for them ( Read more... )
