I got my Palm m505 back to functional and I'm looking for a way to organize more complicated to-do tasks / projects. Any recommendations? Warnings?

Had a problem with the battery life - thought it was fully charged then it only ran for 10mins. So I left the power on and let the battery fully drain, then charged the battery overnight. Running it today, that seems to have done the trick ( Read more... )

The office has a batch job PC that runs - you guessed it - batch jobs. Usually Access processes running on autoexec. We had to run Office updates and now, those processes that send emails are getting the "Someone is trying to automatically send Outlook messages. You ok with that?" dialog box, which completely ruins the whole unsupervised thing. ( Read more... )

It's been a month and change since Derek arrived and he hasn't worn out his welcome yet. I've run him 3 or 4 times and:

• Clean up / maintenance is simple
  
• The quality of the clean hasn't deteriorated.
  
• I'm less than thrilled with the virtual wall. I haven't figured out how to place it so that Derek doesn't lumber up on the carpet yet the whole floor ( Read more... )

So a month or two ago, I got moved from my spacious piece of cubicle real estate into more cramped space, sharing an office with two others (one of which being my boss; cramped my style, let me tell you...). I want to run a batch job in Windows XP that copies my My Docs folder to Z:/. I don't know how to handle the long file names. Here's the command I'm using in the batch file:

xcopy /e /y /h C:\Documents and Settings\marjai\My Documents\ z:\MyDocBU\

I think the long file name is screwing things up. How do I make it work?
