A quick Scooba update
Had a problem with the battery life - thought it was fully charged then it only ran for 10mins. So I left the power on and let the battery fully drain, then charged the battery overnight. Running it today, that seems to have done the trick.
Unfortunately, I don't think you can cut the time it takes to wash the floor by reducing the amount of water. I'm pretty sure that the way Derek knows he's done is when the dirty water tank gets full. Therefore, half a tank of clean water means that the dirty water tank never gets full means that Derek only stops when the battery dies out. This is fine if I'm around to stop it or if I'm not around and not worried about draining the battery. It's not that big of a deal to just let him go with a full tank.
