And then when I got home, I climbed in bed with a migraine at 5:30 pm and didn't really wake up until after noon today. Nearly 19 hours of sleep/migraine/sleep/repeat. Bah. Thanks to j-zihuatanejo for this link - both A. and I get migraines (although by her standards we are wimps, with 1-2/month lasting only 3-4 days each). Our mothers both get them, his grandma and my great-grandma both got them, and I think someone else in his family gets them too. I feel like I have to have a certain amount of pain for each migraine that I have. Even if/when I take pain medication, all that seems to do is stttttretch it out longer so that I still have pain, I just have less pain for a longer time.
