Riding the bus is good for you.

Well, it's good for me, anyway. A bus-buddy of mine is a neurologist, and she asked me how my weekend was. Not thinking anything of it, I mentioned the evil killer migraine. She went in to full doctor mode and asked me what I took for it. I told her why I can't take Imitrex or NSAIDs, and she said 'Wait! I know what you can take!' and she pulled out her iPhone with an entire pharmacological database on it (or an app that links to it, anyway) and looked up this med for me. For good measure, she even cross-checks it against my other meds. How's that for awesome! Now I've got something to talk to my PCP about.

Unfortunately, my other bit of good news for the morning, that Transit had my Palm Pilot, didn't pan out. It was in fact a Palm, but it was not mine. Ah well, at least we tried. This is obviously a sign that I need a new handheld device. If only I could afford one!
