Yesterday N. rode his bicycle all around the woods behind our neighbourhood. A. says that at one point he thought N. was going to wreck, but he braked just enough to skid slightly (in the gravel!) and managed to keep it upright. We bicycled to daycare on the 23rd and the 24th of July, and I think on the 28th and 30th, too. In August so far, we've ridden the 4th, 8th, and possibly the 7th, and we rode I think 4 days last week. Also, for the past 2 Sundays we've biked to the grocery store and back, a round trip of just under 4 miles, so roughly the same distance as to ( Read more... )

Work is busy (not crazy-busy, just busy). It's perfectly tolerable and fun, even.

We rode our bike(s) again this morning, even though I didn't really feel like it. We were late, so I got on the next bus, and rode half-way here with galeran, which was nice. On Saturday we went to Performance Bicycle Shop and for various reasons I wound up spending a bit of extra time there while the guys went back home for the Trail-a-bike.
