Originally Jesse’s character was going to be lawyer, loosely based on Simon Baker’s ‘Nick Fallin’ character from legal drama The Guardian. And the character was going to have a young Simon Baker’s face. Basically, it was going to be a totally different character altogether, although in a very similar role of ‘friend’ to the boys.

August - what journalists in the U.K. refer to as 'silly month' because with parliament in recess there is little truly newsworthy, and so you get news about someone's cat video going viral on YouTube, health scare stories and, of course, THE FIRST PICTURE OF THE ROYAL BABY!!! ZOMG!!!

( So here's a quick update on The Innocents. )

- Religious cults (ongoing for years though)
- Types of trucks [nearly took a photo of a delivery lorry that was supplying my local bagel shop but the driver would have totally seen me. It was very annoying because it had been left open at the rear and it was totally *my* truck.]
- Vegetation in semi desertic areas

It's probably all going to be a great big fat bunch of nonsense, but it's certainly fun to be challenging myself in a totally different way to what I'm used to.

Yes, after a few days of trepidation and worry that the talk of incest might have upset my editor, my article is finally up. Phew! Looks like the guy took it well, as he has placed a few genius captions under the images I'd sent him with the post (his captions are always something I look forward to, when I submit a post).
